A plan change is a change to a regional or district plan in the Auckland Unitary Plan. This could either be initiated by council or a member of the public. This list includes all plan changes and changes to the regional policy statement.

PC 122 (Private): 15, 17 and 17A Clarks Lane, and 10, 12, 14 and 16 Sinton Road
This private plan change seeks to rezone 16.65 hectares of land from Future Urban Zone to a mix of Residential – Mixed Housing Suburban, Residential – Mixed Housing Urban, and Open Space – Informal Recreation Zone and introduce a Stormwater Management Area Flow-1 overlay and a new precinct.

PC 121 (Private): Karaka Road Precinct
This private plan aims to rezone 86.5 hectares of land from Future Urban Zone (FUZ) to Business Light Industrial Zone (LIZ) in the AUP. The private plan change request also proposes to introduce a new precinct called the ‘Karaka Road Precinct’.

PC 120: Housing Intensification and Resilience
This proposed plan change to the Auckland Unitary Plan Operative in part aims to better manage development for natural hazards across the region, and amend regional and district plan rules that will enable further intensification of housing mainly around rapid transit stops, along many major bus routes and around centres.

PC 119 (Private): Ara Hills (Hall Farm)
This private plan change aims to rezone 84ha west of Grand Drive Ōrewa from Future Urban to several urban zones, and adds a precinct, the Stormwater Management Control Area, and amends an SEA Overlay.

PC 118 (Private): Puhinui Precinct
This private plan change aims to rezone 5, 10 and 11 Campana Road, and 467 and 485 Puhinui Road from Future Urban to Business – Light industry and modify the existing Puhinui Precinct provisions.

PC 116: Amendments to Schedule 14 Historic Heritage Schedule – deletion and/or amendment of four archaeological places
This plan change aims to amend the historic heritage schedule and the planning maps to delete 3 historic heritage places and amend 1 historic heritage place. The 4 historic heritage places are in the Devonport-Takapuna and Upper Harbour local board areas.

PC 113: Additions to Schedule 10 - Notable Trees Schedule
This plan change aims to add a total of 174 new individual and 29 new groups of trees to the Auckland Unitary Plan’s Notable Trees Schedule (Schedule 10).

PC 109 (Private): 98-100 & 102 Totara Road, Whenuapai
This private plan change aims to rezone 16.36 hectares of land at 98-100 and 102 Totara Road.

PC 108 (Private): Crestview Rise
This private plan change aims to rezone 2ha in Papakura from Rural to Residential-Mixed Housing Urban creates and introduce a new precinct and shifts the Rural Urban Boundary to align with the new zone boundary.

This private plan change aims to rezone the land from Future Urban Zone to Business – Light Industry Zone and introduce a precinct.

This plan change aims to enable temporary filming activities as a permitted activity.

PC 103 (Private): Silverdale West Industrial Area
The plan change rezones 107ha at Silverdale West from Future Urban to Light Industry, adds: a precinct, four trees to the Notable Trees Schedule, the Stormwater Management Control Area, an SEA Overlay area and amends the Macroinvertebrate Overlay.

This plan change aims to introduce nine Sites and Places of Significance to Mana Whenua (SSMW).

PC 100 (Private): Riverhead
This private plan change aims to rezone 6 ha of land in Riverhead.

PC 96: Open Space and Other Rezoning Matters (2024)
This plan change seeks to rezone land recently vested or acquired by Auckland Council to an open space zone.

This plan change aims to manage impacts of development on Auckland’s transport network.

This plan change responds to the government’s National Policy Statement on Urban Development (NPS-UD) and requirements of the Resource Management Act.

Variation 5 to PC 66 (Private): 57 and 57A Schnapper Rock Road
Variation 5 seeks to amend PC 66 to apply a relevant residential zone (being Mixed Housing Urban) to land that is proposed to be rezoned at Schnapper Rock Road.

This private plan change seeks to rezone approximately 32.5 hectares of land on 43, 45A, 92 and 130 Constable Road, Waiuku.
