Check in The Auckland Unitary Plan
The Auckland Unitary Plan has special character overlays that can cover both residential and business areas.
A place is protected if it is included in one of the following:
- Scheduled places (Unitary Plan Appendices contain all the individual scheduled historic heritage places and historic heritage areas)
- Heritage orders.
Our heritage schedules are different from Heritage New Zealand schedules.
