Learn about the lifecycle of plants and basic gardening skills.
Experiences
Students are introduced to the wonders of gardening through a range of hands-on activities in our children's garden.
Using a variety of tools, they prepare and mulch the soil, plant and water the garden, and clean up afterwards. They prepare seeds for germination and discover the secrets of successful seedlings, before examining and feeding the worms in the worm farm.
Along the way students become familiar with the life-cycle of plants, find out what they need to survive, and leave with the know-how to create and maintain a garden.
