Students learn how plants get food and recycle their waste.
Experiences
The forest does a great job of recycling all by itself.
In this course, students discover how life on earth is interconnected through the wonder of the nutrient cycle. Hands-on activities enable students to explore how photosynthesis is essential to all life and meet some of nature's “ultimate recyclers” on an exciting invertebrate hunt in the forest.
Students extend this learning to uncover how they can replicate the nutrient cycle when dealing with food waste at home and at school.
