About the Manurewa Lifelong Learning Fund
Criteria
To be eligible for this grant you must be:
- aged 55 years or over and living in the Manurewa Local Board area
- enrolled or planning to enrol in a new learning activity starting in 2024.
How to apply
You can get an application form from Manurewa Library, Clendon Library or Nathan Homestead. After completion, you can submit the form at any of the above libraries.

$0 - $2000
Outcomes
Our grant will support the following outcomes:
- support older people to engage in learning activities
- celebrate diversity and inclusion in the community
- encourage older residents to support positive social outcomes and wellbeing.
Funding priorities
We will prioritise applications for:
- local study programmes
- community courses
- postgraduate courses
- training
- wānanga
- conferences or events in New Zealand (overseas events may be considered.)
The funding is available for all courses unless already subsidised.
