Waitākere Ranges Local Board provides funding to help communities celebrate Neighbours Aotearoa.
To be eligible for a grant you must:
- be a resident of the Waitākere Ranges Local Board area
- plan your event to take place between 1 to 31 March 2025
- meet the Neighbours Aotearoa goal to 'turn strangers into neighbours' and 'streets into neighbourhoods'
- hold an event for neighbours in your own street
- involve 10 or more households
- ensure the event takes place within the Waitākere Ranges Local Board area
- not use funds to purchase alcohol
- not use funds to promote business, religious ministry or political purposes.
Note: We expect applications to open in February 2025.
