About the Waitematā Quick Response Grant
A quick response grant is generally for small value grants and is available up to five times a year. It is one of two types of local board grants.

$500 - $4000
Outcomes
Our grants programme supports the Waitematā Local Board Plan 2023 in these key areas:
- our people
- our environment
- our community
- our places
- our economy.
In 2025/2026 we will prioritise grants for initiatives that address community resilience and recovery.
Funding priorities
We welcome applications that show how you would use the grant to achieve the five key areas listed under 'Outcomes'.
We recommend you read the Waitematā Local Board Grants Programme before you apply.

Successful applicants must submit an accountability report at the end of their project or activity. This is required to show us how the grant was used.
We will not give any future funding to applicants who do not complete this report.
