Individuals, groups, organisations and entities, whose projects, events or initiatives clearly and directly benefit the wider community, can apply for a grant. For example:
- not-for-profit, charitable and voluntary 'community' organisations with a formal legal structure
- individuals and groups with no formal legal structure
- commercial entities (e.g. Limited Liability Companies)
- social enterprises Organisations that trade goods or services in order to achieve their social, environmental, economic or cultural goals. (e.g. Charitable trusts, cooperatives or unions, etc.)
Organisations that may be connected to us or our elected members need to make sure they declare any possible conflict of interest (or perception of conflict of interest).
