There are two of types of regional grants:
- 'one-off' project grants, for standalone initiatives awarded at least once per year
- multi-year strategic relationship grants.

Types of regional grants
To target specific priorities or if there are unspent funds, the committee may run a second funding round for project grants later in the year.
Project grants
For project grants, you will need to complete an application form on the SmartyGrants website.
We will:
- assess these applications with the help of an assessment panel
- present their recommendations for the elected members' consideration.
The governing body will work with expert council staff to make allocation decisions and set any grant conditions.
