Details of the proposed activity

McCall Contracting Ltd has applied for resource consents to operate a cleanfill facility involving 272,000m3 of cleanfill over two stages during the ten-year timeframe. The cleanfill will involve the reclamation of a natural wetland and an intermittent and permanent watercourse and the loss of riparian and wetland vegetation. Earthworks will be required over an area of 3.8ha associated with the cleanfill operation, and to form the cleanfill, the vehicle access, temporary sediment retention pond, and earthbound. Overall, the proposal is a non-complying activity.
