Details of the proposed activity

Demolish the existing boatshed and timber ramp at site 14, and construct a new boatshed in its place in accordance with the 1930 Standard Design by the Auckland Harbour Board. The new boatshed is proposed to be repositioned to align with the course of the Ngapipi Road coastline and the adjacent boatsheds 13 and 15. A new jetty, gangway and floating pontoon are proposed at the seaward end of the boatshed. The proposal involves underwater earthworks and piling. Renewal of the coastal permit for a 35-year duration is sought.
