McKenzie Reserve
18 Empire Avenue, Oneroa

About McKenzie Reserve

Enjoy the scenic views of Waiheke's northern shore from this reserve.

You'll find interpretive displays, many designed for children, making for an interesting time exploring the reserve. While the walk is steep at times, you'll well rewarded - a great family challenge.

Pine trees in the valley have been replaced with a regenerating coastal broadleaf forest as part of the community project.

Access from Empire Avenue and Great Barrier Road. You will need to park on the road.

Picnic tables and seating, bush trails and interpretive signs are inside the park.

Follow the 2km McKenzie Reserve Path and enjoy sweeping views of the Hauraki Gulf.
