About Phyllis Reserve

This 7 hectare reserve is dominated by sports fields, including one named after the late Albie Turner.

You can access the attractive Te Auaunga Oakley Creek Walkway from the reserve.

The reserve is home to Metro Mt Albert Football Club and Metro Mt Albert Softball Club.

You need to know

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

How to access Phyllis Reserve

  • Car park  ‑ Access from the end of Phyllis Street. Gates open 6am to 10pm Sunday to Friday in summer and 6am to 9pm in winter, and 6am to 11pm on Saturday.
  • Mobility parking  ‑ Accessible parking spaces available on the sports field side of the car park. Gates open 6am to 10pm Sunday to Friday in summer and 6am to 9pm in winter, and 6am to 11pm on Saturday.
