About Fishermans Rock Reserve

Long thin tree-filled reserve. The reserve borders the sea in the north, Pacific Parade Coastal Reserve in the east and houses in the south. A small beach area is accessible at low tide.

The main entrance to the reserve can be accessed between 1272 and 1274 Whangaparaoa Road. You can also use the walkway between 24 and 27 Siesta Terrace.

There are picnic tables, a large car park and a boatramp on the eastern side of the reserve.

You need to know

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
