The Sandspit
197R Sandspit Road, Shelly Park

About The Sandspit

You can access The Sandspit from Sandspit Road. The park has a series of steep steps with handrails installed along most of the walkway. There are some sections without rails that may become slippery after wet weather. The walkway is surrounded by bushes on both sides. A moderate level of fitness and balance is recommended.

The park provides access to Shelly Park beach. At low tide, you can walk along the foreshore to Cockle Bay.

There is a picnic table in the park. You will have to find parking on the street.
