About Pt Erin Park

An open space next to Pt Erin Pool. The park covers approximately 4 hectare and provides a lovely location for picnics and the kids to kick a ball around.

Access the park from Shelley Beach Road, and Curran and Sarsfield streets. You will need to find parking on the road.

A playground, toilets, basketball half-court, picnic tables and seating, drinking fountain, and bike stands are inside the park.

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

  • Car park  ‑ Access the car park from Sarsfield Street. Gate open 6am to 10pm daily.
  • Mobility parking  ‑ Accessible parking spaces are available close to the playground. Access the car park from Sarsfield Street. Gate open 6am to 10pm daily.

  • Drinking fountain  ‑ Near the toilets.
  • Picnic tables  ‑ By the playground and pools.
