Coyle Park covers nearly 5ha, with grassy open spaces, mature trees, harbour views, impressive cliff faces, and a rock shelf exposed at low tide.
The well-equipped playground features a flying fox and space net for older children.
The park is well connected with paths, and good access to the toilets, playground and Point Chevalier beach. Some paths are steep and there are steps in some places.
Several paths lead down to the beach. The beach is tidal, and the best times for swimming are at mid to high tide.
There is a car park and bus stop at the end of Point Chevalier Road near the park entrance.
