About Logan Carr Reserve
This reserve has a large pond, lots of trees, and plenty of open space for kicking a ball around. A good network of paths connect the entrances with the facilities. You can follow the path through to the adjoining Kellaway Reserve for a longer walk.
Access the reserve from Chapel Road, Dannemora Drive, and Kilkenny Drive. Other entrances are from Fintona, Glencullen, Glanworth, and Emyvalie drives. You will need to park on the road.
A playground, fitness equipment, picnic tables, seating, and a small skate area are inside the reserve.
Follow the 3km Logan Carr Path around the reserve and local area.
You need to know
Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

Follow these rules to keep yourself and others safe:
- Wear a well-fitting helmet and other protective gear.
- Skate to your ability – don't try new tricks until you're confident.
- Don't sit in or walk through the skating area.
- Skate parks are for everyone – take turns, be courteous and have fun!
