About Point View Reserve
A large park with extensive walking tracks through bush reserve and passive recreation space.
Access the car park from Caldwells Road. Pedestrian access from Gracechurch Drive.
Parking is inside the park.
Follow the Point View Loop Path along the native bush, the Point View Lookout Path to the lookout point, or the Point View Bush Path through the reserve.
You need to know
Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
How to access Point View Reserve
- Car parks ‑ Access the car parks from Caldwells Road and Gracechurch Drive. Gates open 5.30am to 9pm in summer and 5.30am to 7pm in winter.
