About Hillsborough Cemetery

Hillsborough Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in Auckland and lies on a ridge overlooking the Manukau Harbour. On-site maps guide you around the cemetery and help you locate grave sites.

The cemetery is partially divided by a forested valley and you can cross between the two sides. The easiest route is at the top in the clearing. The more difficult is through the forest via steep slopes and steps down through the adjoining Hillsborough Reserve.

Animals
