About Meadowland Park

This large sports park caters for football and softball. There is also plenty of open space for the kids to kick a ball around, or to find a spot for a picnic.

Footpaths link the entrances with the sports fields and other facilities.

A playground, fitness equipment, car parks, toilets, bike racks and seating are inside the park.

Access the car parks from Meadowland Drive. Pedestrians can also access the park from Alicia and Nicholas roads.

The park is home to the Howick Softball Club, Cockle Bay Tennis Club and Howick Squash Club.

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

How to access Meadowland Park

  • Car parks  ‑ Access the two car parks from Meadowland Drive. Gates open 5.30am to 9pm in summer and 5.30am to 7pm in winter.
