Cockle Bay Reserve
Also known as Cockle Bay

This fabulous playground is at the northern end of the reserve, by the inlet from the bay. It has a range of play areas and equipment to keep the kids busy.

The nature area has a large fallen log and plants, with colourful balance beams, poles and stumps through the middle.

The main play area has a play module for the littlies that has climbing equipment, steps, tunnel, slides. There is also a merry-go-round, monkey bars, and spinner for balancing!

The swing set includes a parent and child swing, and a basket swing.

Follow these rules to keep yourself and others safe:

• Playgrounds are risky and designed to challenge – always supervise children.
• Use play equipment as it is intended.
• Playgrounds are for everyone – respect others, take turns.

Summer tips:

• Playground surfaces get hot – check before using and wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
• Play when it’s cool and avoid the heat of the day.
• Be sunsmart.
