About Rosedale Park

Rosedale Park is a large park with plenty of open space for the kids to run around in. The reserve is home to the North Harbour Softball Association. You can also walk south to Constellation Reserve, another large open space.

A playground, toilets and changing rooms, car park (with mobility parking), artificial turf fields, fitness equipment, disc golf course, picnic tables and seating are inside the park.

Access the car park and centre of the park from Jack Hinton Drive (off Rosedale Road) and Paul Matthews Road. Note: from 13 December 2024 the park is closed to through traffic. Locked gates and 'No Exit' signs have been installed at the closed entrances.

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
