About Seaside Park

This large sports park covers nearly 17 hectare and over-looks the Tamaki Estuary.

A network of paths surround the sports fields, and go through the southern side of the adjoining bush area.

Access the car parks from Brady Road.

A playground, toilets, picnic tables and seating are inside the park.

The park is also home to the local soccer, badminton and sea scouts clubs.

You need to know

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

  • Car parks  ‑ Access from Brady Road.

What to see and do at Seaside Park

  • Boat ramp  ‑ Concrete boat ramps are located behind the boat clubrooms and near the playground toilets.
  • Picnic tables  ‑ By the playground and overlooking the river at the northern end of the sports fields.
