About Hinemoa Park

This large coastal park is next to the Birkenhead Ferry Terminal. This park is covered in bush and is split by Hinemoa Street.

On the sea side of the park you will find a playground, toilets, barbecue, seating, and boat ramps.

On the northern side you can follow a path through the bush to the end of Tizard Road.

Access the park from Hinemoa Street, Tizard Road or via the ferry terminal.

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
