About Centennial Park

This large reserve backs has lots of open space for recreational activity and areas of bush.

There is a good network of tracks through the bush, with picnic tables and seating for you to sit and enjoy nature. Some of the tracks have sections of boardwalk and steps so may prove difficult for those with access needs.

Access the park from 184 Beach Road and Rae Road. There is parking available along Rae Road.

Groups at this park

The park is also home to the Pupuke Golf Club and the Campbells Bay Tennis Club.

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. Visit Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

How to access Centennial Park

  • Parking  ‑ There is parking available along Mortons Way. Access from Rae and Beach roads. Gates open 7am to 9pm in summer and 7am to 7pm in winter.
