Western Reserve is a large open space suitable for all types of recreational activity - all just minutes away from Ōrewa Beach. Access from Hibiscus Coast Highway.
The reserve is home to the well designed Ōrewa Skate Park. It is great for skateboarders, scooters and bikers of all ages and abilities. A basketball court is right next to the skate park.
The Estuary Arts Centre, Orewa Bowling Club, Hibiscus Pétanque Club, Hibiscus Coast Community House and Hibiscus Coast Youth Centre and Hibiscus Coast Dog Training Club are all located in the reserve.
Toilets, seating, picnic tables, car park (including mobility parking) and a wharf are also inside the park.
Follow the Te Ara Tahuna / Ōrewa Estuary Path that loops around the estuary, or the Ōrewa Beachfront Path from the southern end of the reserve to Arundel Reserve.
