Royal Reserve is a large grassed open space in the heart of an urban environment. Recreational opportunities include a basketball court, fitness equipment, learn to ride paths, skate features and sports fields.
The wide smooth paths throughout the park are great for walking, running, wheelchairs and prams.
Access the two car parks from Beauchamp Drive. Pedestrians can also access the park from Carnelian Court, Baumea Rise, and Richfield Crescent.
A large playground, learn to ride track, basketball court, two car parks (including accessible parks), toilets, fitness equipment, picnic tables and seating, and electric barbecues, drinking fountains, and bike stands are inside the park. Changing rooms are available through sports field bookings only.
Follow the short Royal Reserve Path around the outside of the park.
You can also take the walkway from the northern edge of the park to Rush Creek Reserve and on to Westgate Shopping Centre.
Good wide paths link the entrances with the mobility car parks, accessible toilets and other facilities.
Some sections of the paths are steep, and some have steps. These are marked on the Royal Reserve accessible map.
The four picnic tables by the playground are accessible, under shelter and next to the barbecues.
Both car parks have accessible parks.
