About Jack Pringle Sports Park
Large sports park with playing fields, open space and well-established trees providing shade in the summer.
Access the car park from Pringle Road and Harbourview Road. Pedestrians can also access from Harbour View Road and Gunner Drive.
A skate park, basketball half-court and seating are inside the park. Cross Pringle Road to Jack Pringle Village Green for the playground, toilets and additional parking.
You need to know
Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

Our skate parks are not supervised.

- Wear a well-fitting helmet and other protective gear.
- Skate to your ability – don't try new tricks until you're confident.
- Don't sit in or walk through the skating area.
- Skate parks are for everyone – take turns, be courteous and have fun!
