Henderson Valley Park
Large park with lots of open space to enjoy a variety of recreational activities. A good path runs along the northern edge of the park connecting to Henderson Valley Green.
Access the car park from Henderson Valley Road. Pedestrians can also access from Tabitha Crescent, Border Road and Misty Valley Drive. There are bus stops at the entrance to the park on Henderson Valley Road.
A playground, car park, toilet, picnic table and seating are inside the park.
Follow the 8 km Opanuku Stream Path which crosses through the northern end of the park.

Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
