About Greville Reserve

This large park is great for all sorts of activities, and perfect for kids to play and ride their bikes. It has an accessible path network suitable for wheelchairs and prams.

Access from East Coast Road (opposite Pupuke Golf Course) and Forest Hill Road.

Parking, toilets and changing rooms, seating and picnic tables, barbecues, and a playground are inside the park. There is also a BMX track, basketball half court and skate park for older children. Mobility parking is available off Forest Hill Road.

You need to know

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

Playgrounds at Greville Reserve

Features a bike track painted on the concrete top of the reservoir. Smooth surface with lots of room to manoeuvre. Ideal for children building their confidence or taking the next step from balance bike/trainer wheels to pedals/two wheels. Nearby is a basketball half court and skate park.

Skate to your ability – don't try new tricks until you're confident.
Don't sit in or walk through the skating area.
Skate parks are for everyone – take turns, be courteous and have fun!

Drinking fountain

Drinking fountains are near the playground, beside the toilets and on the north east side of the sports field.

The skate park contains pipes, grind rails on a slope and on a level, and benches.
