About Churchill Park

In keeping with its history as 'Glendowie Farm', Churchill Park is managed as a 'countryside in the city'. Stretching 40 hectares you'll find open pastures on the upper slopes, areas of woodland and bush on the lower slopes and even grazing cattle at times.

At low tide follow the Point to Point walkway from St Heliers to Churchill Park. There is also a link to Karaka Bay via Peacock Street.

The park is home to the Glendowie Bowling and Tennis clubs.

Parking at Riddel Road, Kinsale Avenue and Forfar Road.
