Starts at 165-123 Somerville Road, Somerville
A short half-hour loop path taking in some highlights of the spectacular Mangemangeroa Walkway.
A magnificent landscape of farmland, coastal native bush and stunning estuary views, the Mangemangeroa Valley is one of East Auckland’s hidden gems.
Start at the main car park on Somerville Road and follow the signposted Rotary Loop. It's a short walk with some steep climbs.
Admire wide open views down the Mangemangeroa Valley - a stunning scene especially when the tide is in. There's seating to enjoy the scenery and listen out for local birdlife.
There is a portable toilet at the Somerville Road parking area.
