Enjoy a walk along residential streets and through an urban oasis of regenerating bush.
The bush area was established about 30 years ago through the leadership of Roy Clements.
The Meola Creek winds through the bush. It was established through ongoing volunteering effort from locals.
The path has three entrances:
The walk is flat on boardwalk through the bush. It follows a stream and the edge of the Mount Albert Grammar school boundary.
The large green space at Kerr-Taylor Park would be excellent for a game of football or a picnic on a sunny day.
You can also follow the footpath around and take the kids for a swim at the Mt Albert Aquatic Centre.
