Our camping passes are valid for 12 months from 1 October to 30 September. They allow repeated use of most Auckland Council campgrounds and facilities (conditions apply).

Where and when you can use your camping pass
There are restrictions on where and when you can use your camping pass.
You can use your 2024/2025 camping passes between 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025 at most Auckland Council regional parks (subject to availability and booking terms and conditions).
You will need to check for camping space availability on the day of your arrival.
Camping passes are the same price regardless of the date of purchase and are non-refundable once used.
You cannot use the pass to book your camping space in advance. If you wish to book ahead, see Find and book accommodation in our regional and holiday parks.
Where you cannot use your camping pass
This pass is not valid at any time of the year at:
- Ōrewa Beach Holiday Park
- Martins Bay Holiday Park
- Whangateau Holiday Park
- Kaipātiki
- Muriwai Regional Park.

Certified Self-Containment (CSC) vehicle camping pass
The CSC camping pass is for campervans, vehicles, caravans, 5th wheelers, or campermatics.
