The Storm Recovery Navigation Service will no longer accept new referrals from 1 September 2025.
Our Navigators have supported more than 2100 whānau Extended family, family group, a familiar term of address to a number of people. Also the primary economic unit of traditional Māori society. since the service started in September 2023. Many of these whānau have moved forward in their recovery journey and no longer need the service.
We are working with a small number of families and will continue to provide them support.
Registered families can either email navigators@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz or email their existing navigator directly for support.
We will close this service in December 2025.
