Description

Only recyclable household material is accepted, but small amounts of material from commercial sources may be accepted by arrangement with the operating organisation.

The Whangaparāoa Community Recycling Centre accepts cardboard, paper, glass, aluminium cans, polystyrene, batteries, whiteware and e-waste.

Green waste and furniture such as mattresses, sofas, lounge suites, armchairs and bedding are not accepted.

Thursday to Monday: 8am to 4pm
Tuesday to Wednesday: Closed
Closed on New Year's Day, Day after New Year's Day, Auckland Anniversary Day, Waitangi Day, Easter Monday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, ANZAC Day, King's Birthday, Matariki, Labour Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day.
