Manurewa Community Recycling Centre is operated by Beautification Trust.
Our passion is supporting you to divert waste from landfill, helping you learn about living a waste free life, and creating new volunteer and job opportunities.
In our Reuse Store, you can hunt for bargains or give your unwanted items a second life. Reusable household items in good condition are accepted free of charge.
Worn household items will be assessed to determine if they can be fixed or upcycled. A small fee will be charged to cover our costs.
This donation gives products a second life, and keeps them out of landfill. Proceeds from the sale of goods are invested back into community initiatives.
We are a small recycling centre and restricted by space on what we can sell and collect for recycling. If you have big and bulky items to donate, contact us in advance so we can plan ahead.
We recycle small to medium e-waste and electronics, as well some household items that you cannot put in your kerbside collection. See Items that are accepted here section for more information.
While we would like to be able to offer free services, some recyclable items will incur a small fee to cover our costs with our recycling partners. Our partners are carefully chosen to ensure we are offering the best outcome for products at their end of life.
If we cannot recycle it, or resell it, we will do our best to advise you where you can take it.
