How to book an inorganic collection
Inorganic collection dates will only appear if bookings are open in your area.
If you miss the collection day for your area, there are other ways to dispose of your items.

If you live in an apartment, townhouse, gated community or retirement village with 10 or more dwellings on one site, your body corporate or property manager needs to make a bulk booking.
Your body corporate or property manager should also tell you where you can place your items for collection.
After you book a collection
Once you book your collection, we will tell you your booking reference number and collection day by:
- text, or
- over the phone.

How inorganic collections work
Our inorganic collections are one of the waste and recycling services funded by the Waste Management Targeted Rate.
Every property in Auckland that pays this rate can book one inorganic collection each year at no extra cost.
Collections are scheduled for certain areas at different times of the year. Once we release the schedule, you can find collection dates for your area and book a collection using our online booking tool.
You can book a collection up to eight days before the start of the collection period.

You can use our booking tool to find your collection week, without making a booking.
We will also deliver flyers to mailboxes in your area several weeks before your area's collection week.
