About Manutewhau Walk

Large long open green space that runs from 63 Oreil Avenue through to Moire Road and joins up with Moire Park. A good network of paths and boardwalks connect with Moire Park and Manutewhau Reserve.

Access from Oreil Avenue, Moire Road and Holmes Drive. You will need to park on the road or the car park at Moire Park.

There is some seating inside the reserve for you to sit and relax along the way.

 

Follow the 2.2km loop Manutewhau Path to enjoy views of the Waitematā Harbour.

You need to know

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
