About Kiwi Esplanade (Boat Ramp)
Coastal park with scenic views over the Manukau Harbour and lots of open space for a variety of recreational activities.
Access the reserve from Kiwi Esplanade.
A playground, toilets, picnic tables and seating, car park, basketball half-court, and a boat ramp are inside the reserve.
Follow the Ambury to Waikaraka Path to Onehunga or Ambury Regional Park.
You need to know
Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

- Car park ‑ Access from Kiwi Esplanade. Gates open 7am to 9pm in summer and 7am to 7pm in winter.

- Drinking fountain ‑ By the car park and playground.
- Picnic tables ‑ By the car park and playground.
- Boat ramp ‑ Concrete boat ramps in front and behind the boat club and on either side of the reserve.
