Some tracks in this reserve are closed to prevent the spread of kauri dieback.
Find open and closed tracks and read about protecting our kauri.
Le Roys Bush links to the Highbury Shopping Centre and Little Shoal Bay.
The reserve provides a series of walking tracks through some lovely native trees including kauri. Please keep to the tracks and use the boot cleaning stations provided to protect these precious trees. The tracks are a mix of paths, steps and boardwalks.
You can access the reserve from between 133 and 135 Hinemoa Street - there are some steps at the top of the path. The best access without steps is down the gravel path between numbers 10 and 12 Le Roy Terrace where there is plenty of on-street parking. Please stay on the path and respect the privacy of the property owners. You can also access from the end of Glade Place, Valley Road and Wai Manawa / Little Shoal Bay Reserve.
This informal group enjoys and values the natural heritage and native biodiversity of Wai Manawa / Le Roys Bush. They have a regular Wednesday working bee from 9am to 11am.
