About Maybury Reserve

Long open space with a creek running through its centre. The reserve sits between Taniwha Street in the north, Elstree Avenue in the east and Maybury Street in the north. You can also access the path from Rowena Crescent.

Pt England Reserve sits south-east of the reserve. The Glenn Innes Citizens Advice Bureau, Ruapotaka Marae, Te Oro, the Glen Innes Community Hall and Glenn Innes Pool and Leisure Centre are all close.

Maybury Reserve has remnants of the community garden established by Tom Court with the feijoa trees still providing fruit for school children running parallel to the walkway.

The reserve has a playground, picnic tables and public artwork.

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
