Franklin and Rodney customers can request rubbish bin services now. Rubbish collections started from 30 June 2025 (Franklin) and from 1 September 2025 (Rodney).
Non-residential properties will not get a rubbish bin automatically. If you want a rubbish bin at a non-residential property, you must request one.

We recommend that you cancel your rubbish or recycling bin service in early June. When you pay for these services, you pay until the end of the rating year (30 June). If you cancel your service before June, we will not refund you for the months you paid for but did not use.
