About the Regional Arts and Culture project grants
Audience development and programming
These projects deliver a wide range of arts and cultural experiences that can attract audiences from across the Auckland region.
We do not provide funding for organisational / operational or ongoing costs like administration or accommodation.
Business and capacity development
These projects increase professionalism and build the sustainability of regional arts and culture organisations by developing:
- feasibility studies
- organisational development
- digital / web development activities
- a new sponsorship / patron programme
- strategic, business and marketing plans.

Outcomes
Grants delivered through our regional arts and culture grants programme support the goals and objectives of the Toi Whītiki Arts and Culture Strategic Action Plan to:
- integrate arts and culture into our everyday lives, and
- create a culturally rich and creative Auckland.
